The Aluminator PVC Stair Nosing is a 67.5 × 39mm heavy-duty profile designed to withstand high foot traffic while providing reliable slip resistance and step-edge protection. Constructed from robust PVC, it incorporates a non-slip insert and a photoluminescent Aluminator® glow-in-the-dark strip, combining everyday durability with enhanced safety in emergency conditions.

In the event of a local or emergency power failure, the Aluminator® strip absorbs natural or artificial light (daylight, fluorescent, or filament) and glows brightly in darkness. This ensures that stair edges and risers remain clearly visible, helping evacuees navigate safely in low-light environments.

The heavy-duty build makes the AHP profile particularly suited to commercial, industrial, and public applications such as offices, schools, hospitals, shopping centres, hotels, and transport hubs. Fully DDA-compliant and Part M-approved, it meets UK accessibility and safety standards.
