The rich burgundy colour hides stains and marks well and helps with colour coded hygiene when you need to keep raw and cooked areas separate. It performs across a wide temperature range from minus 80°C to plus 80°C, so it handles cold rooms and warm production lines equally well. As a PE1000 alternative, this PE500 sheet gives excellent value without losing the toughness buyers expect. The smooth, non porous surface resists moisture and washes down easily. It can be sawed, drilled, routed and machined with standard tools, and it is much lighter than steel or timber, so handling and fitting are quick.
