This 25mm green PE500 sheet is made from high molecular weight polyethylene, a tough and food compliant material that stands up to heavy loads, constant impact and daily scrubbing. Its low friction surface, strong impact resistance and lasting wear protection help cut downtime and replacement costs. The bright green colour is easy to spot and supports colour coded hygiene by keeping food groups and work zones apart. It works across a wide temperature range from minus 80°C to plus 80°C, so it suits freezers, cold rooms and warm production lines alike. As a PE1000 alternative, this HDPE sheet gives excellent value without losing toughness. The thick, rigid board will not soak up liquids, washes down easily and keeps its shape under pressure. It can be sawed, drilled, routed and machined with standard tools, and it is far lighter than steel or timber, so handling and fitting are quick.
