This 10mm red PE500 sheet is made from high molecular weight polyethylene, a tough and food compliant material that works well in kitchens, factories and workshops. Its low friction surface, strong impact resistance and lasting wear protection help cut downtime and replacement costs. The bold red colour is easy to spot and supports colour coded hygiene, especially for raw meat areas and for marking safety zones. It works across a wide temperature range from minus 80°C to plus 80°C, so it suits freezers, cold rooms and warm production lines alike. As a PE1000 alternative, this HDPE sheet gives excellent value without losing toughness. The smooth, non porous surface resists moisture and washes down easily. At 10mm it is light and easy to handle, yet still rigid enough for daily use. It can be sawed, drilled, routed and machined with standard tools, so fitting is quick.
