Natural Polypropylene Homopolymer Rod 15mm is a versatile thermoplastic material developed for industrial parts exposed to corrosive substances, moisture and regular handling. Its specific gravity of approximately 0.91 gives it a lightweight construction, while its rigid composition supports the manufacture of durable fittings and equipment components.

PPH performs well in environments involving acids, including sulphuric acid, and offers resistance to a wide range of chemicals. With an operating temperature range of 0°C to +100°C, it can be used in applications requiring greater heat tolerance than polypropylene copolymer. Minimal moisture absorption helps maintain material consistency, while its excellent weldability allows straightforward joining and fabrication.

The naturally non-stick surface makes this rod useful for components where material build-up should be reduced, including certain cement-handling applications. Its impact resistance also makes it suitable for protective plugs, bungs and thread guards. The natural grade is food compliant for applicable uses. It carries an HB fire rating, meaning it can continue burning once ignited.
