Natural Polypropylene Homopolymer Rod 25mm is a lightweight, rigid thermoplastic designed for manufacturing industrial components that need dependable performance in chemically aggressive environments. Its excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and corrosive substances makes it a suitable material for chemical processing equipment, storage installations and fluid-handling systems.

With a specific gravity of approximately 0.91, polypropylene is easy to transport, handle and machine. It has a service temperature range of 0°C to +100°C, offering greater heat tolerance than polypropylene copolymer. Its low moisture uptake helps preserve its physical characteristics, while its weldable structure allows components to be joined during fabrication.

The naturally low-adhesion surface helps limit the sticking of materials such as cement and concrete, making it useful for selected industrial applications. Its ability to withstand repeated impacts also supports the production of protective fittings, plugs and thread guards. The natural grade is food compliant for suitable applications. Please note that its HB fire classification means it can continue burning after the ignition source is removed.
