Description
Natural PTFE Plastic Rod 100mm Diameter
The 100mm Natural PTFE Plastic Rod is a high-performance engineering material designed for specialist components exposed to demanding operating conditions. Made from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), this thermoplastic combines exceptional resistance to chemicals, acids, corrosion and extreme temperatures with excellent electrical insulation capabilities.
Its naturally slippery surface provides very low friction, making it particularly useful for mechanical parts that require consistent sliding movement. PTFE also offers minimal moisture absorption and strong resistance to UV exposure, helping maintain its properties in challenging industrial environments. With a melting point of approximately 327°C, it supports continuous working temperatures from -260°C to +260°C, with short-term exposure up to +300°C.
